Horizon Scarf

This month's Shop Hop was a lot of fun, and we want to thank everyone who attended.  Knitters who were able to make it in during the week were given a free pattern for the Horizon Scarf, which was a big hit!  

Materials:
1 skein Mrs Crosby’s Ombra Della Sera (Main color)
1 skein Lang Riva (contrast color)
#9-32” and #10 ½ - 32” needles

YO = yarn over
K2tog = knit the next 2 stitches together
K2togtbl = knit the last 2 stitches worked (on right needle) together through the back loop
MC = main color
CC = contrast color

Garter section
Row 1: Knit 1, YO, knit to last stitch, YO, knit 1
Row 2: K1, yo, knit to last stitch, yo, k1
Repeat for pattern

Stockinette section
Row 1: Knit 1, YO, knit to last stitch, YO, knit 1
Row 2: K1, yo, purl to last stitch, yo, k1

Lace section
Row 1: Knit 1, YO, *k1, yo, k2tog* end YO, knit 1
Row 2: K1, yo, purl to last stitch, yo, k1
Row 3: Knit 1, YO, *k2tog,yo, k1* to 2 stitches left, k1, YO, knit 1
Row 4: K1, yo, purl to last stitch, yo, k1

With mc, and smaller needles, cast on 30 stitches
Do 3 rows of garter stitch pattern
Do 11 rows of stockinette pattern

With cc, 10 rows garter stitch

With mc, 6 rows stockinette stitch

With cc, 10 rows garter stitch

Change to larger needles
With mc, 8 rows of lace

With cc, 12 rows of garter stitch

With mc, 3 rows of the following
Row 1: K1, yo, knit to last stitch, yo, k1
Row 2: K2, yo, *k2tog, yo* to last stitch, yo, k1
Row 3: repeat row 1

Cast off as follows: K1, *k1, k2togtbl* repeat to end
Weave in ends, block and enjoy

Question: Do I switch back to the smaller needles after the lace section or continue with the larger needles until the end?

Hello to all at the yarn junction!
I just wanted to say thank you so much for the horizon scarf ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m knitting it for in aid of a sponsored walk for DCM, which is hoping to raise £10,000, the scarf will be raffled off, inwill be gifting this to them, will this be ok with you?
As I don’t want to breach any rules you have.
I’m going to knit it in red/black and hopefully I will post the finished item for you
