Classes
Here are some current requirements for classes:
- Classes are limited to 4 people
- Refund given if more than 3 days notice of cancelation
Most classes are 90 minutes long and cost $20, which doesn't include the cost of materials. Multi session classes may be higher. We require that you purchase yarn from our store for the class. Weaving is a longer class at 2 to 2 1/2 hours and costs $25, and we will sell or rent looms for you to use in class.
Money refunded for cancellations at least 3 days before the class for any of our classes.

Learn to Knit 2 - Cowl
Monday April 13th 5:30-7pm Register Online
Now that you know the basic knit stitch (required to take this class), learn to knit in the round and how to purl. Yarn needs to be purchased at YJC

Soft Current Sweater 5 part class
Mondays from 1-2pm April 6th thrugh May 4th
Learn cables and lace work as you make this top down sweater by Wool & Pine. Yarn must be purchased from YJC to be in the class. Pattern is a Ravelry purchase

Learn to Crochet 1

Learn the basics of crocheting. Single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, chain. Must buy your yarn from YJC. This class is for ages 14 or older.
Crochet Blanket (Crochet 2)
Saturday March 28th 10:30-noon Register Online
You will learn how to crochet in the round, making one big square, learning color changes as you go. You must know how to crochet to take this class.
For the class, you will need to have an I hook (can buy at YJC) and 2 different colors of either Cascade 220 superwash or Berroco Ultra Wool yarn for a total of 5 skeins (need to purchase from YJC)

Learn to Weave 1
Sunday April 19th 1.30-3.30pm Register Online
Learn the basics of weaving with the cricket loom. We will teach you how to warp and weft in our 2 hour session. If you want to take the loom home to finish the project, you will need to purchase the loom ($260.95). If you bring the loom back within one week of class, you may return it for a refund, minus the $30 rental fee. You will need 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn purchased at YJC.
